Sealed both ways
Theirs opens the moment yours lands.
No peeking, no going first and waiting. Until you have both sent, each half sits under a seal. When the second one arrives, both open at once and you read them together, wherever you each are.
- Send a line, a photo, a voice note, a doodle, a song or a short video.
- Scratch the seal off theirs the first few times, because opening it should feel like something.
- Works across time zones. An India and US couple still pairs every message.
The lock
The same rule runs on both phones.
You each choose your own apps. You each get paused. Neither of you can lock the other, unlock the other, or see what the other picked. Nobody holds anyone else's key.
On your phone
Screen Time does the pausing, locally, under your own control. Turn it off whenever you want from the You tab.
On theirs
Exactly the same, set by them. Their windows, their apps, their choice to stop.
What we can see
Not which apps you locked. Apple hides that list from us by design. We only ever know how many you picked.
If you miss one
A missed message is never a debt. The lock only asks for the one in front of you, and yesterday's is yours to send until midnight.
Kept
Everything you both sent, saved.
Every pair you have opened stacks up in one place: a month at a glance, the ones you starred, and a recap of everything the two of you sent. It turns into the thing you scroll instead.
- Your streak counts the days you sent all three. It is yours, so their flight does not break it.
- Star any pair to keep it at the top.
- Tap any past day to play all three back.
On your home screen
The two of you, without opening the app.
Days together on the home screen, your favourite pair as a keepsake, and the count on the lock screen. The next message stays face down until its window, so a widget never spoils it.

And something to do once they open.
Six games, built for whichever way you are living right now. Together in one room, pass the phone. Apart, you each get one sealed round a day and whoever finishes second opens the scores for both.
- This or that, never have I ever, would you rather, agree or disagree, how well do you know me.
- Fresh questions every midnight, the same ones on both phones.
- A round only one of you finished expires unseen at midnight, so it is worth actually doing.
Billing
One subscription. Two phones.
Whoever subscribes gets a six character code. Your partner types it in and joins free, for as long as the subscription runs. There is never a second bill.

Does my partner get locked too?
Yes. That is the whole design. The same rule runs on both phones, each of you choosing your own apps and your own windows. This is not an app for controlling somebody else's phone, and it cannot be used as one.
Does it work long distance?
It is built for it. The couple keeps one clock, so you both get the same message on the same day even with a twelve hour gap between you. Apart mode in Play assumes you are not in the same room.
What if I miss one?
Nothing piles up. The lock only ever asks for the message in front of you, and a missed one stays yours to send until midnight. Miss the night one and your apps do stay paused until you send it, which is the point, but it is the only one you owe.
Can you read what we send?
Everything is stored under your couple's own code with row level security, so no other account can reach it. We do not sell it, share it, or train anything on it. You can delete all of it from the You tab whenever you want.
Which apps can I lock?
Whichever you choose, through Apple's own picker. Apple keeps that list private even from us, so we can only ever tell how many you picked, never which.
Do we both need to pay?
No. One subscription covers the couple. The partner who joins with the code is never charged.
Is it on Android?
No. The lock is built on Apple's Screen Time, which has no Android equivalent, so both of you need an iPhone.
